Oh – this gives me such mixed feelings – and almost all of them cynical!!! In the 20 or so years that I have hung around system administration (as the spouse of an admin, and as a client), I have rarely ever seen any real respect shown to someone in the profession – and now salaries have largely dropped to 30 or 40% of what was being payed to sys admins only 3 or 4 years ago – but we do have “System Administration Appreciation Day”!!!


Sorry my cynicism is leaking out here… :) Thanks for your comment at my blog, I appreciate your prayers for us, and I have been thinking about you and your health and hoping and praying that you continue to find more information about what’s going on.
