Informatio: Humor
Laughing at translation, Part 2...
Remember this? Well, I just gor a bunch of pictures from my brother (who is in Southeast Asia) that are just as funny. A friend of his went to a local toy store and took these photographs of some of the toys — as well as one billboard (that first pic there) that he saw.
What a shiny, long-flowing head-covering. (I had to block out some of the verbiage in order to protect my brother’s actual location.) I always knew that Pooh wasn’t as innocent as everyone thought. I’m thinking of changing the subtitle of this Blog to this one! Yeah, that Garfield… He can party with the best of ‘em. I really wish I knew what this toy was.Posted at 08:16 am

ha! hilarious…you know, i’ve always secretly thought that pooh and garfield really need to tone it down…A.A. Milne and Jim Davis can get so out of line…

It’s a reference to the backward masking in Pooh. If you play “There’s a rumbly in my tumbly” backwards it really says, “Turn me on dead man.”

You continue to entertain, Tim. Very nice looking blog. Hmm, there’s nothing like it on Pivot Styles. We’d love another template submission from our contest winner!

I laughed at the silliness of a shampoo comercial that shows NO hair… and then i had this idea pop up in my mind, “what comparisons does this have to our culture?” We think they are idiots for “protecting” their children from Winnie the Pooh but most our (western culture) kids are fed hundreds of violent acts, people-as-sexual objects and consumerism as man’s chief end via our media/culture.
I think they are both crazy. But at least there’s is funny… ours is scary :-Þ
