Kansas City Sunset (Time-Lapse)...
I’m currently shooting a short film for church. I’m not going to explain the whole thing right now, but I thought I’d show you my first screen test.
Click here to watch it (it’s a 6MB MPEG).
This is a little over an hour’s worth of film scrunched down to one minute.
Pretty fun, isn’t it?
The sunset was so great that I was hoping that this would be more than just a test (i.e., the final take), but there are a few things about it that I don’t like. Hopefully the next sunset I shoot will be just as glorious.

Neat, eh? Tomorrow’s shoot should yield an even better result (depending on if the sunset is as spectacular). Here’s hoping!

Wow, looks nice indeed. Too bad the sky isn’t turning into all sorts of color. Now I just see a red circle going down… :)

Ahh the beauty of an urban sunset. Not quite Hawaii or anything but there is still alot of beauty in the city.

True, it’s not a Hawaiian sunset and the sky isn’t multi-colored, but I find tremendous beuty in it. It takes my breath away.

Awesome, I watched it several times. How did you get the buildings to stand so still for the entire shoot? You’re good…

Glad you liked it, Mike… Yeah, you have to get there right when the buildings are going to sleep — they don’t move for a few hours during that time.
