Our big-tongued new friend...

Big-Tongued IndyEveryone, meet Indy!

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that we may have found a dog… Well, last Thursday, her foster parents brought her over for an “interview” and then, this past Saturday, we went to pick her up!

She’s been a wonderful dog so far (if not a little stressful, since I want to make sure she’s happy). Her bark is pretty ferocious, but she’s only used it once, while meeting one of the neighbor dogs. Most of the time, she just hangs around and tries to please us by being lovable.

This picture os of Indy while on a walk that was probably way too long for her first time out with us. She did great, though…

Look at that tongue!

I love her already! She’s so cute!

And her cuteness isn’t even a ploy — she really is that cute, all of the time! :-D

Don’t forget they have a great nose.

Jenny left her bag on the floor yesterday with an unopened bag of trail mix and a cantalope she picked up from a farmer. We went out for dinner and in the middle of eating a chicken wing she said, “Oh crap, I left my bag on the floor” We’ve learned from experience that that is a mistake with Milo. Sure enough, he had rolled the cantalope out of the bag and ate almost half of it, rind and all, and tore into the bag of trail mix, who knows how much of that he ate.

The little shit had to go out 4 times between the time I got up this morning and when I left for work. Serves him right. :-) Good luck and let us know if you need anything.

Oh, man… That’s hilarious! I’m hoping nothing like that ever happens, but we’re prepared (I think).

Indy has already discovered how to get out of her dog run, so we’re going to have to come up with something a little more clever.

She’s a cutie. Might even make me think about getting a dog…

Ask me about her again in a few months, Todd… No need to rush into things. ;-)

she will bring you loads of joy and shit . . . enjoy.

Well, I’m sure you like picking up dog poo as much as you do gardening — so I’ll just call you over when we need you. :-)

i can handle the gardening! (yes that is an advertisement) – ok, i want a dog now also!
