Creative Regression: A Frictional Prolepsis
I recently uploaded my CalArts thesis film to YouTube.
View it here.
The film is called, Creative Regression: A Frictional Prolepsis. I completed it mid-2001 and it was my attempt to sort out a bunch of stuff that I was learning about Postmodernism and Post-structuralism.
I created the film with a number of different media: 16mm and 32mm film, video, paint-on-film, cut-outs, charcoal animation, acrylic paint, etc. It was a fun, but gruelling process.
Anyway, I’m going to try to start uploading some of my other experimental shorts as well, so stay tuned.
