When all hope is gone...

The course of events this evening:

  • Get an email from a friend’s friend who has a car for me—a free car.
  • On the way home, drive by the free car’s location to check it out—like how the free car looks.
  • Continuing the drive, call insurance company to make sure they take the stolen car off of the policy—so that we’re not charged.
  • Get home to find letter from police saying that they’ve found stolen car—and it’s “drivable.”

And you’re tellin’ me that God doesn’t work in mysterious ways?

Thanks, guys! But, I haven’t seen the car yet, so I don’t know how much in tact it will actually be — it was broken into through a window and it’s been raining a LOT lately! We’ll see…

Everytime Bloglines tells me you have a new post, I hope, before I follow the link, that maybe your post will be about finding your car and it being okay. Congrats man. It’s really good news.

Thanks, Wheat… I’m waiting to decide whether it’s a blessing or a curse.
