Not to leave you hangin'...
My court appearance was rescheduled a number of times again yesterday. It was a bummer. There were about eight of us, it turned out, who were all victims of the nefarious court-rescheduling villain.
Finally, after waiting an hour (this was during my, then new, two-o’clock appointment time, which was after waiting a few hours earlier in the morning), I was called to the stand… Which took all of three minutes.
I was sworn in, questions by the defense attourney, then the prosecutor, and then asked to leave.
Fun, eh?
Read more about the story here.
The case is said to be scheduled through next week. I’m glad my part is complete.
