$50 worth of gas used to last me over a month...
Some of you may have wondered why I haven’t talked much about riding the bus over the last year and a half. That’s because after getting my current job, the bus ceased to be an option for my transpotation — that is, unless I wanted to go through about seven different transfers and turn my commute into a three-hour, butt-numbing hassle every morning and every night of the week. Still, that might beat today’s gasoline prices.
Speaking of today, after fueling-up before beginning my thirty-minute drive to work, I was stopped at a stop light, awaiting my turn. Just then, one of Kansas City’s finest (not the police, mind you, but a Kansas City Metro bus) pulled up along side me. Oh, how I wished I was on it.
I am dreading the fact that our other car needs gas as well. Spending fifty-dollars isn’t a light subject in our household when it comes to frivolous items and it shouldn’t be any easier for gasoline. But, there’s not much more that we can do. And the government should know this. And help.
THANK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY

But that’s why I’ve started driving my scooter again – now that the sun is out. So I suppose, I’ll have to enjoy it and be grateful.
I just had to add a photo on my flickR as well. I’m sorry if it irks you.
