Informatio:

Update on my MicroB adventures...

Thanks to the kind , via the user’s list, I was able to reinstitute the “Set engine” functionality of my ‘s web browser (read about what happened here) by doing this:

edit ~/.browser and change hidden from false to true

Thanks, James!

In addition, the ever-enigmatic (faithful architect of the browser) asked that I post this for others who might be running into similar issues:

  1. check and save the application manager log
  2. save /etc/apt/sources.list
  3. search “bugzilla”:https://bugs.maemo.org/

(He has a set for any web content that contains the word “MicroB,” so watch out!)

I agree… I could have done that before posting about it here. So, before you all start freaking out, please follow those steps.
