We're cute...
Ahem. No, really, I just thought this photo was nice enough to post…
This is Julianna and I just about to leave for our friend, Jason Cupp‘s annual Christmas party last night.
The party was great fun — I even got to catch up with another friend, Doug Weinbrenner, who I haven’t seen in ages (as you can see, his last blog post was in August!).
I must admit that, aside from all of the consumerism and rampant hypocritical behavior by most of humanity, I do really like this season. It brings back memories (both good and bad). It facilitates connections and re-connections with people whom you might not have otherwise talked to. It is, even if superficially, filled with much joy and cheer. The weather is even kind of fun (as long as you’re bundled up, like we are in the picture).
So, rather than waiting until the actual days to come (i.e., Christmas, New Years, etc.), I’d just like to say, “Happy Holidays!” to everyone who graces this humble blog with their presence.

By the way… Due to certain circumstances… er… a total hip replacement, we were unable to send Christmas cards out this year. I hope you understand.
